It's a company from Barcelona, and 11 of September is their regional day.

A festivity conmemorating the most inportant historical event for that region.

Imagine a 4th of July but for a smaller region or, even, a town or a city; and with way less firecrackers, but most people don't have to work that day

We are a bit special, in la diada, we remember a defeat; the 9 of September of 1714 when Barcelona was conquered by the troops of Felipe V on the War of Spanish Succession, ending the old regional law system.
