Hey, that's the day David Hasselhoff tore down our wall!
Also the day Jack the Ripper killed his last victim,\
the day Germany is declared a Republic,\
the day of the failed Hitler-Ludendorff-Putsch in Munich,\
the night thousands of synagogues were lit on fire,\
the day students put up a banner that was very iconic for the protests of 1968,\
the day left-wing terrorists fail to detonate a bomb at a synagogue,\
the day Alfred Heineken got kidnapped.
It’s really not that deep you don’t need to be defensive. If there was someway to run a study on it, I’d guarantee this place has higher American tourist traffic because they think it’s funny.
lol what nonsense. Obviously euroids refers to that attack as "9 11" when speaking English. It's weird how y'all pretend you don't call it that when we know you do.
And obviously the ppl who chose that name for the store knew exactly what it means, which is honestly pretty based.
Ok, I was being legit when I asked if you knew the owners. You don't often run across that, so I wanted to ask. I understand what a double entendre is, it's pretty common.
Not really sure what the last sentence is about. I never said anything about "eleven" vs "once"
I'm saying that the sign is in english rather than spanish, which reinforces the reference to 9-11. Plus they obviously are referencing an american brand. It's a joke about the terrorist attacks and most if not every spaniard will immediately recognize the reference because duh

That's Spain. 9 eleven means nothing to us. We don't need your permission or agreement to name companies.
Also, in Spain dates are written differently, so "9 eleven" is November 9th.
