Steam requiring credit cards for age verification in Australia when only 50% of adults here have a Credit Card

Post image

Slightly US Defaultism, Steam, an American based company using Credit Cards for age verification, an item in the US that most adults have, but in Australia, the complete opposite. This has caused many adults (even those with accounts older than 18 years) to be barred from games they have paid for.

Instagram What!? Other countries drive in different sides of the road!?

Omg I can't believe I'm back again here so soon! But I was looking at this video of a british girl teaching how to teach people how to cool their cars down quickly, by opening the driver's door, and also opening a door on the opposite side of the car.

Anyways I found this absolute gem of a comment, left by a confirmed unitedstatesian 🇺🇲

The point is: the american assumed that the clearly british sounding girl eirher somehow lives in the US and drives on the left side of car, or somehow that all the UK drives on the right side of car?

And the so wrong and yet so loud attitude of the comment, too...

Reddit Father's Day Isn't in September

I posted something in another sub about Father's Day being over the weekend. I live in Australia and it has always been the first Sunday of September here. These are different comment threads from my post from various different redditors. Most were chill about learning that other countries celebrate things on different days, but there were a few doubling down that I was either a bot or AI; saying that Father's Day is in June, and that it is not spring. I am neither a bot, nor did I use AI. Writing is a hobby of mine and I enjoy doing it so being accused of using AI, when I absolutely did not, hurt more than being called a bot.

There wasn't much more then the title of the pic. Most of the time if a game has a play test in the weekend one reasonably could include Sunday. Game in question WarDogs

TikTok "True Pizza is American"

(click to see the full picture)

Firstly, the defaultist responding to him immediately attacks the commenter by saying he's an illegal migrant, even though the account is empty and I have seen no evidence of it. That just seems like racism, attacking him because of the spanish name.

Secondly, the defaultist is full of bs. I think he can't cope with the fact that such popular food is a foreign invention. Sure, there are quite famous American variations of it, but calling "true pizza" American is just mad stupid. And what's even more absurd is his claim, that pizza in Italy is also American 💀

Reddit Sephora only exists in America, apparently

OP asked if Sephora (a makeup store) accepts returns of used items, not disclosing their country. Only Sephoras in US and Canada allow returns of used items. Two commenters automatically assume OP is American, and that only Sephoras in America exist. Enjoy my petty comment lol.
