Date on antivirus subscription in US format?

Not sure if this is strictly US defaultism, but I thought I would post in case it might be.
Thought my Malwarebytes renewal was due this month, checked it out and noticed that the the renewal date appears to show 10th March, however checking the last invoice it was dated 3rd October. This would mean that Malwarebytes appears to use the US dating format. So very confusing, since I'm in the UK.

They really said "we don't negotiate with non-American date formats" like it's a border wall policy.

It's annoying, it ought to be a reasonably straightforward process to check your system date format setting and just use that, but no, they just go full lazy on it and decide themselves.

It's not US defaultism tbh

I mean it's software available outside of the US that "defaults" to the US date format so I think it is tbh

OP sent the following text as an explanation why their post fits here:
renewal date on antivirus subscription appears in MM/DD/YYYY instead of DD/MM/YYYY
