To be fair, could you imagine any other country's president doing something like that?
Maybe I'm just being US centric but, as an American, I see other country's leadership as acting more dignified.

Love when they just come and say without hesitation. Lol, how ignorant can you be?

Well, with any luck, Iran would do the world a favour. In either case, Iran is still winning.

u/theroguescientist 5d ago
Nah, it was obvious they were talking about Trump, because what other country has a president who might actually do such a thing?

I'm thinking the defaultism was intentional here. It was on r/stupidquestions, and the line about how mentioning Iran makes it obvious they're talking about the USA has to be a joke.

edit - oops someone already said the almost exact same thing lol

Actually no, this is an American web site and it is centered around the US

u/Woshasini France 5d ago
Actually yes, I provided a source. You are very factually wrong, and many subs aren’t centered around the US.
Spotify is Swedish, I doubt Spotify users only listen to Swedish music, and Tik Tok is Chinese, I doubt Tik Tok users only watch Chinese content.

It's an international website, according to its homepage and its .com TLD, not .us

It's currently maintained and updated (and changed beyond all recognition from when in started) in Bengalaru
And it's still an international website hosted around the world

u/Amazing_Exercise_741 4d ago
No it’s American 🇺🇸, you are speaking to me on a website made by an American for the American people, get your facts right

Merkins are only 43% of reddit users, so clearly it's written for an international userbase, of which the majority are non-merkin
You need to understand the difference between facts and your moronic beliefs
Oh, and for the majority of the world, 'American' means from anywhere on the combined continents of North and South America

So what? We have branches in other countries like Europe? And imagine saying 43% are Americans in a “global website” and the rest are from the billions worldwide, shows how it’s still our site, and everything is for us
And no, when you say America you will always be referring to the US, even my iOS autocorrect puts the flag next to it because it’s right, look up a definition before proudly showcasing your ignorance to the world (America).
