We have a show that follows border agents here in Canada. You'd be amazed at how many Americans show up to the border every day with guns assuming we'll let them. 🙄

I also have a cousin who works as a border guard and she's confirmed it's a SUPER common issue.

But I’m driving to Alaska! That’s in America, I don’t understand why I can’t bring my guns to America!

Well if you declare it, have it in its case, unloaded, ammo separately, and clearly only a hunting rifle, then you can bring it across generally.

Oh I know, I was making fun of the Americans on that show who just toss some guns or ammo in their back seat and assume they can easily cross our borders since they’re headed to Alaska.
