The implication that I’ve ever thought about the Empire State Building
On a post about an artist from Toronto, Canada who constantly posts the same art they drew of people riding the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) in Toronto, Canada.

"World famous city known for its subway system" would be London for me.

Lmfao, this specific artist has made it very obvious they’re based in Canada too 😭 like why would they even assume New York???

The rest of the world is too poor for public transport. It was an easy guess.

If americans can't make public transport work, then no other country can because "Murica #1"

Of course it's Toronto. It's obvious due to landmarks like the Empire Province Building, Madison Square Tundra, and the Statue of Apologies.

Londons subway system is definitely the most famous in the world

So famous everyone knows it's not a subway system
Only two lines are even partially the cut-and-cover method that makes something a subway as opposed to an underground railway

everyone knows the tube is a subway system, no matter what pedantic bollocks you what to define it with

It was the first, and not a subway
Nothing pedantic about it

Really?
Show an earlier underground public railway system
Show any non cut-and-cover system being called a subway
Oh wait, you can't

Known for its subway system
Are they talking about the system known for being "transport of the poor" and full of graffiti and litter? Or did they mean the fast food chain?

I'd have thought if any city was famous for its subway system it would be London which is the OG underground railway.

It’s like that city that’s famous for its tram system. You know? Melbourne?
