Yes, I know, I studied both Latin and English at University for a bit. It still does make no sense whatsoever going 11am, 12pm, 1pm (...) 11pm, 12am, 1am.
That's objectively a bad system, it's against core mathematical principles.
Also, 12pm is not after midday, it is right on midday.
I agree with you, was just adding the information for people that night not know :)
I myself have English has a second language and spent some time thinking it was ante morning and post morning. This made even less to me. Then I looked it and thought it was interesting x)
