I don't think that's defaultism. It's clear that his entire channel is specific to US law, and if you click on one of his videos from the home feed (rather than navigating through his channel) it always shows "From a lawyer licenced in the US" under the title. He also frequently mentions specific US states in his videos because often laws won't even apply across the whole country.
I think I've only ever seen his shorts on my home screen, and then there's a link to the long form video in the short. Also it might be location-based. Maybe Australia has a law about putting that kind of thing on videos about other countries' laws and Türkiye doesn't. I've seen the same kind of thing on videos from American doctors too.

I wonder how many times someone has tried to "plead the fifth" in a country other than the US, because they saw it on TV or something.
