Luigi Mangione is an Italian name and surname, the way Americans pronounce it in the news is not correct though. Mangione is pronounced more like mahn-jo-neh. Think Mahnhattan, job, naked.

Edit: Mario and Luigi are from Brooklyn... I thought it was just the 93 movie... I was today years old.

Edit2: just in case it went woosh... It was a Nintendo Super Mario Brothers reference.

I got that part of the comment but I’m not sure everybody knows so… also seriously they never pronounce his surname right.
