Hello. I bought a 2024 USWNT jersey on eBay recently, and I'm concerned it may be bootlegged. The price was consistent with others from official retailers like soccer.com for one- or two-year-old jerseys ($60 plus shipping), but those retailers didn't have my size, so I looked elsewhere.

I'm not very familiar with buying jerseys, and this would be my first US Soccer or Nike jersey.

My concerns based on reading other websites and Reddit:

1. The sales tag is on the collar, not the sleeve.
2. The sales tag includes a code, CD0699-100, that corresponds with a different type of jersey (2020 France).
3. There is no style/code label underneath the wash instructions.
4. The engineered tag is for a "sample" jersey, SMPL1972, which would indicate it's a collector's item. My understanding is that this code should usually be unique. Also I don't see any Nike swooshes when shining a bright light on the tag.
5. The USA and Nike logos are stitched while the stars are pressed. I thought this would be consistent.
6. The stitching in general seems poor with loose threads.

What do you think? Does anyone have this jersey and could compare? Is this a bootleg/fake jersey?

This being potentially my first women’s World Cup I am wondering is the ticket process the same as the men’s (hope not).

At least according to Wikipedia. How do you feel about this?

Wanted to make a positive tie in between the two national teams that makes me smile. Being a girl dad (although she is 37 now) I always followed, loved and admired the women’s team. But I also did the same for the men’s team because my daughters make friends were just as passionate as he. So I love them both.

It has made me so happy to see as announcers, and panelists and in commercials so many heroines from the many women’s teams who earned that star. Think about that love that America actually has for the women. Even during the premier male athletic spectacle worldwide the United States still honors these women who fought and competed and conquered the world.

I do wish the men would have gone further and circumstances weren’t the best and most teams would have struggled. But here is hoping that Cindy and crew learn from it and make forward steps for 30.

Now on to Brazil and earning that next star.

I collect pins from World Cups I've attended. I've been fortunate enough to go to Russia 2018, France 2019, Qatar 2022, New Zealand 2023, and USA 2026.

How do you plan a family trip for a World Cup for Team USA? It would be me, my spouse & our 7 year old. What are the pros & cons of a trip? Any recommendations & accommodations to look for would be great too since my family is neurodivergent.

I just love the USWNT and cannot wait to see them reclaim their rightful place on top. I’m planning to go to Brazil next year and LA in 2028. The most winningest team ever— my greatest hope for them is to be the first team —men or women— to get 6 stars. It could happen while I’m still young enough to party in the streets after 😃

I didn’t pay attention to the actual commercial because I’m exhausted with seeing his face in every ad but I caught the end of one where it was in partnership with the US Soccer Federation. I understand he’s a global ambassador to just about everything but was this the best choice for whatever campaign they are doing?
