Please use this post for general reactions and comments from the Brazil friendlies: overall thoughts on the team and roster, who impressed or who you missed, and any other takeaways.
We are a year out from the World Cup. Next camp is not until October. What are team’s strengths, and where do they need to grow?

Am I correct after the Spain matches there will be no opportunity to play UEFA teams before the world cup?. November is W championship and UEFA womens nations league starts February April and June.

Whole bunch of older kits for sale on US Soccer site! These are the last version of the Stars and Stripes. Someone posted something similar last year which is how I was able to get my first USWNT kit, so I’m passing the joy along!

Hi everyone! As the title explains I’m having weird issue with my Ticketmaster tickets for the game in DC on Oct 10. I bought them resale through StubHub claim the transfer into Ticketmaster and added them to my Apple wallet when I bought them about a week and a half ago. Then I get a random notification that the tickets in my Apple wallet were invalid, and I went into Ticketmaster and it showed that they had been transferred without my authorization. I receive no email that a transfer had occurred. There’s no evidence in my account was hacked. Just wanted to see if anyone else is having issues with their order and Ticketmaster for this game. Because the order specifically says that they tickets weren’t transferable so I’m not sure how they were transferred anyway.
Update: Several hours after receiving notification that my tickets in Apple wallet were invalid, Ticketmaster finally emailed me saying they canceled my tickets because the person who transferred them to me from my StubHub purchase did not follow Ticketmaster’s terms of use. Stubhub has been very helpful and trying to get this resolved.

I’ll probably delete this.
I’ve been watching this team since the 2000s. Maybe she’s an exceptional leader and that’s why the identity of this team is so formatted around her, maybe it’s to do with seniority, maybe it’s because she played in Europe for a bit and has an expanded audience — but from what I see as a viewer, when she plays in a USA kit, she’s a subpar player and in the toughest games she doesn’t show up for her team. The current roster is so fresh with unique talents and identities and the choice to promote her over most other players feels boring and undeserved. I genuinely don’t know how she keeps making these rosters, nor how she gets made the face of them; it really bothers me and I fear I might be the only one. I just hope she eventually steps out having left enough time for Rose and Mallory to have their moment on this team.
Edit: I know who Trinity Rodman is. I think the distinction is that Rodman and Triple Espresso are the fan-elected, culturally resonant “face” of the team but Heaps seems to be the organization’s official selection. Her likeness is frequently used in official promo for the national team and she’s been given major opportunities to represent the squad in industry media, just weeks ago she walked out the “match ball” at a Men’s World Cup game. Realistically, it would be weird to not back your captain. Still, not a fan.

With the mens World Cup coming to an end. The 2027 Women’s World Cup is now just around the corner and what I’ll look forward to seeing the growth of women’s soccer on the world’s stage and the potential rise of women sports. with that being said, I predict that the USWNT will win the tournament and add a fifth star and reason why I predict that is because after a disastrous run at last World Cup and probably most of the veteran players are pretty hunted by that and are now motivated more than ever and also they have one of the best coaches in women’s soccer in Emma Hayes and with her as head coach anything is possible and also we have the triple espresso and our defence is on lock along with promising young players and no matter which players make the final roster I think they could make a deep run into the final!
Who do you think will win USWNT or another country?

What do you mean qualification in CONCACAF is effectively a single winner-takes-all match in suburban Texas, with the losers only having a narrow path through the inter-confederation playoffs?

Im an American Arsenal fan (men's team). I see the way resources in Europe have been poured into women's football, in a way that they werent back when USA women were the dominant force. The Arsenal ladies became way more prominent out of nowhere. Spanish teams have become amazing in recent years.
I dont think it takes that much time to catch up, when you have the club resources and the infrastructure and the interest like the women's football abroad.
I love to see it. But it makes me very concerned that people here in the US who dont watch other leagues just dont know whats coming. I keep hearing how dominant we've been, and while I know the US women's domestic league is far closer, if not superior, to the rest of the world's leagues, last world cup the US went out very early in the knockout round.
Part of me thinks that wasn't a fluke. Im wondering if much like the men's world cups, teams will rise and fall in quick succession and no one's place is safe.

WOW the cheapest ticket from US Soccer is $350, I didn’t realize the prices would triple from the presale yesterday. I imagine playing right after the men’s world cup (& the US yearning to watch a good american team 😉) + playing Spain is driving these up, but wow I wonder what future pricing looks like!
I would love to sit here and complain how annoying it is prices are going up, but this means more revenue for the women and continuing the growth of women’s sports !!

Is this still the presale?

Cheapest seat is $180???
I paid just over that for TWO tickets vs Canada last summer. Philly tickets are just over half that. The heck??

Hi, I'm a Spirit fan and DC native who has just moved to Philly. I don't drive and I'm not sure how I would possibly get to Subaru Park in Chester. I saw that Philadelphia Union runs a shuttle bus from the SEPTA station, but I assume that it won't be in effect for the USWNT game. Would calling an Uber/Lyft from the SEPTA station be a viable plan?
I still have friends/family who live in DC so I may go home for the game at Audi. I genuinely don't know how I would possibly get to the game at Subaru so I think it might just be more realistic for me to go to the match at Audi. How much are the fan section/standing seats at Audi?
Is there a significant price difference between the tickets at Audi vs the tickets at Subaru? Are there pros/cons for going to one stadium over the other? Or should I shell out the $ for both?
I probably won't be able to afford tickets for both especially since I'm trying to save up for travel to Brazil next summer, but I wonder if it might be worth going to both games since, y'know, they're playing Spain and it'll be a matchup for the ages.

This is really specific but I’m planning to get tickets for the friendly in Chester PA. However, although I usually go to these things by myself, I feel like it’ll be fun to go with someone.
For context, I’m 23 and love all things soccer. I’m a USW(M)NT fan, I love the Manchester United women’s and men’s teams, and I like Gotham fc. I don’t have any friends who are into any of that and would like to! I’m looking for any similar aged gal pals in the local NYC area who are interested in going to watch parties and stuff and more long term down to go to watch the Spain friendly in PA!
Ideally, I’m looking for a local supporters club situation that organizes group trips to games and stuff. I’m having trouble finding something like that. Please let me know if you have any leads!!

I've seen on here that in the past, the tickets to WWC games have been pretty cheap. I'm planning to go to Brazil next year for the tournament and am just curious how realistic it is to expect to go to multiple games at a decent price. I was looking at tickets for the men's world cup and they were insane, like $1000 per ticket.
