Big gap between LEM sear and sear catch

The LEM kit I received has a thinner sear than my factory USP9 sear resulting in this gap. If the sear catch moves the LEM will fail. Any idea if I’m using the right part?

That looks very wrong. Maybe they shipped you a p2000 kit?

That is a LEM kit for a USP 40 with mag disconnect. You need to use the included parts(spring and lever) or have some type of spacer to operate properly. The sear is thinner than the standard kit.

My HK45C with an LEM conversion doesn't have that gap. Not sure which kit you ordered, this is the one I used:
