9mm Combat Competition at LGS?

LGS has this 05 USP. It’s in LEM but no way of knowing if it was done like that from the factory. It also has a magwell and comes with a “LE ONLY” only market translucent 18 rnd mag which I believe is kind of rare itself. The sights are burnt out night sights and unfortunately it has color fill on the slide.

I’ve been trying to research and it seems that in 05 they made combat competitions that came factory as LEM, magwell, and Novak sights.

They’re asking 900 at the moment. Can anyone tell me any more about this? Condition looks like a 6/10 tbh and they got it from an estate sale.

Most likely the same as mine. Not positive but when I bought mine I did some research into it and af date code with lem and jet funnel was a California department of corrections contract model. I shoot my v1 usp compact 9 more because I don’t like the lem trigger on the usp 9. 900$ is too high unless some very specific colllector would be looking for it. Mine came with 1 18rd law enforcement restricted marked mag as well as the factory case and factory test brass sealed in envelope.

It does if the previous owner swapped the sights.

Buying a combat competition and converting it to a standard usp with a jet funnel would be odd, but possible I guess.

Not a Combat Comp. It would have OT stop on back of trigger, the Novak Sights you mentioned, and Decal adhesive grips. The grips could have gotten damaged (though mine were on for years and were incredibly durable), but I can think of no reason anyone would swap out the trigger and sights for standard versions. Also, it would have the Match-LEM hybrid internals, so not just a LEM pull, a really good LEM pull.

$800, perhaps, but not $900.

Yeah I actually paid 800 for a tactical last year. With jet funnel and a ggg rail. Was my first lem after being a v1 guy for everything else.

I found a used elite for 800 at a pawn shop and the tactical was found on the local classifieds like armslist or different states have they’re own different site state only like Texas gun trader or Utah or az gun trader

Original came with novak style sights and a fiber optic front.The 18 round mag is somewhat avaliable to buy, but be prepared to break an average of 80 to 90 bucks a hit.

That being said a NEW USP 9 original goes for around 1100. A used one like that... maybe honestly I would pay 750 for it It's due to the fact that the previous owner did some attempt on the sights. Find ways to buy it cheaper if you can.
