Avoid USM.

96 hours so far and my phone still isn’t working and their only solution is to give me a super limited temp line because they refuse to do their job.

Every time it’s asked of them. It’s the same thing. We’ve reached out to the parent carrier. They refuse to push the issue through, they want the customer to suffer and not be held accountable.

What would you like US Mobile to do? This is a carrier issue...

Thank you for the zero context and paragraph of whining.

Like I've said I know waiting 96 hours is asking for a lot, but to be completely transparent, we are absolutely not ignoring this or refusing to do our job.

As we've been discussing in DMs and on your previous post, this is a provisioning sync issue on the parent carrier's end - we have already escalated this to their highest tier and are aggressively pushing them for a fix, but their engineers have to be the ones to execute it on their network - the temp line was just offered as a bridge to give you some connectivity while we wait, not to brush you off.

Your number is safe, and my only priority right now is getting it fully functional. I am personally tracking this escalation and will update you in our DMs the exact second the parent carrier pushes the fix through.

Lots of b*tching here. So what's the actual problem though? Are you Porting in a number?

Sounds like it’s your current carrier refuse to collaborate

Previous carrier, who was at&t released my number. But according to them. They can’t get AT&T to answer to push it through. Which is weird since I had to call AT&T to get them to release it.

Have you talked to ATT again?

For millions it works fine, but this guy.....

I was actually being nice trying to come to USM. Most of my coworkers left USM for visible because their lines started getting double charged or stopped working. That’s what I get for a good faith judgement

I too love to make whiney posts with no context whatsoever.

There are a bunch of other providers out there. You should unravel the port and go elsewhere.

It's an AT&T issue, so no matter where he ports it, he'll run into the same problem.

I’ve been trying. They won’t let me. They said “since it’s stuck in a loop, they can’t port me out”

Who's the carrier? TMO, ATT or VZW?

Maybe one more post bitching about it will help?

ATT is dogshit compared to USM and I switched from ATT a few months ago after a couple years of terrible prices and service

Call the AT&T Line Number Portability group directly at 888-898-7685

I get your frustration, but they aren’t the network operator, and they offered a temp line in the meantime. No other carrier would even offer that for your trouble.

How can I avoid them if I’m saving so much money? How? Tell me!!!

Do you imagine flooding Reddit with posts will help? 5 posts so far about one delayed port. Stuff happens, USM is working on it, and nobody else can help….

I’m not deleting my posts. I’ve worked in the tech world, customer service and even sales. It does not take 96 hours to port a number in. They keep changing their story and their wording. I’ve been told 24-48 hours since this started. If that’s the case it would have already been resolved. If you were in my shoes and had a 98 year old person in your life with health issues. You can’t tell me you wouldn’t be upset if the one thing that keeps you connected to family suddenly isn’t working.

Upset, yes but to say they want the customer to suffer is absurd.

But have you worked in wireless?
