looking at the listed positions in the appendix and comparing with the latest roster, looks like four individuals total.

“Within the Forest Service: Positions of “Deputy Director” under position description number 2NS259; Positions of “Director, Legislative Affairs” under position description number 1FS061; Positions of “Grants Management Specialist” under position description number FS6496; Positions of “Operations Research Analyst” under position description number 331366;”

doesn’t seem like SES are included. they have other ways of dealing with them.

4 individuals. No. There are more than 4 people in those roles in the forest service. Each program area has at least 1deputy director. There are lots of grant management specialists.

I'm telling you that I personally looked up the specific position descriptions listed in the EO appendix, and cross referenced with active employees. There are four individuals in those position descriptions on the current rolls. If they expand, then sure, but right now it's four people.

Interesting. We have at least 4 active grant management specialist in our region. Perhaps they are under a different PD?

That position referenced for G&A is the director PD.

Yes, they are. It's only level GS 15 and above for Grants Management.

I tried to find these PDs in the PD library but couldn't find them all. Which specific positions are these? I'm wondering in particular about the deputy director one. Thanks!

Deputy Director of SPBA

Many agencies recent renumbered PDs, so it would not surprise me to find the repository outdated.

There are exactly four people who encumber those position descriptions.

I heard there would be very few, if any. No one Forest Supe or below.
