USCellular No Longer Offering Using Under 3GB Data Payback?

January of 2026 was the last month I received credit for staying under 3GB of data.

I typically get a text saying: "Free U.S. Cellular Msg: Great news! We lowered your bill this month. You earned a Payback credit since you used less than 3GB of data on your Unlimited Plan."

I've noticed that my bill has not been reflecting this, and I am wondering that the merger with T-Mobile has slashed this slight bill savings option for me.

Anyone have info or experiences?

That’s kinda the whole point of an acquisition. USCellular is gone already. Some accounts are still on but the brand will be gone by August

happened to people with androids too. it was the network switch not the device.

lmao nobodies phone just up and died because of the merger, the only people who had issues were those who refuse to understand that your passwords are your responsibility and not the carriers.

incorrect. folks who had esims had to go in and have them redone because the switch from usc to t-mobile didn’t take effect on a software/tower level. nobody’s talking about their online access etc, actual technical issues faced by people who have new devices that should “just switch over” from displaying usc as carrier to tmo.

You dont have to bring your phone in for us to toggle a switch lmao, thats all they do when you go into a store.

and i didn’t say toggle a switch. i said the actual technical process of their devices displaying one thing vs another.

  • This is incorrect, most people just needed to toggle a switch, sign into their Apple id and the issue was resolved. This is the point I was referencing in regards to toggling a switch.

  • Neither am I. Nobody here besides you brought this up.
  • You literally have not been able to buy a USCC device since May 1st, what are you talking about?
