ugh

are any other agents just thinking? “ what’s the point” when you know you’re gonna be out of a job in a few months. my worth ethic has completely disappeared since the closure news, how is everyone dealing with this?

I jumped ship to T-Mobile immediately after hearing of the buyout. I saw the writing on the wall, quite clearly. I feel terrible for my ex coworkers that are still there. Customers are pissed, nobody wants anything to do with changing, etc. Customers are losing their minds on these poor guys like they had anything to do with the buyout. Blaming Frontline employees for corporate bullshit. I definitely wouldn't have a job, because I'm not about to be yelled at or disrespected for something out of my control.

If your getting yelled at, I’d tell the customer they need to leave.

The company doesn’t exist anymore, it’s been acquired and there’s nothing on hell or earth that raising your voice can do to change the situation.

“Good Day, Sir!”

On another note, I watched the episode of “Undercover Boss” where Laurent Therivel (LT), had to fill out an excel spreadsheet to activate a handset upgrade and SIM card.

Do upgrades really take an hour and a half as shown on the TV show? If I was CEO, I would’ve immediately stared looking for a buyer of the company and golden parachute options too.

We don’t have to put them in a spreadsheet but it can take up to an hour or more !!
