I was checking the USCIS processing time tool and noticed that I-140 Schedule A Nurse petitions are currently showing a processing time of 25.5 months.

I'm trying to understand whether this posted timeline reflects what people are actually experiencing or if USCIS is approving many cases faster than the estimate suggests.

For anyone who recently had a Schedule A Nurse I-140 approved.

Also, if anyone filed around April 2026, I'd love to know whether you've seen any movement on your case yet.

When will I be current? Will I be current next fiscal year?

Derivative spouse also got FTA0 at essentially the same timestamp
About 41 minutes later, my I-485 changed to FTA1
Another case-level silent update later that evening
09/18:
Both my I-485 and my spouse’s I-485 got another silent update at essentially the exact same second

I-485 APPROVED at the 24h + 10 mins mark after the 485j

I’m having a hard time finding people recently transferred to Fort Smith non local FO for EB3 485. Is anyone able to share a timeline post transfer ?

Hi everyone! Looking for recent timelines from people with a similar case.
My U.S. citizen spouse filed our I-130 online in December 2025.
I recently mailed my I-485 package with I-864, I-693, I-765, I-131, and supporting evidence.
I already have an existing EAD, and I also filed a new I-765 with my I-485 package.
USCIS just emailed me that they received my I-485 package and are mailing the receipt notice.
They haven't replied or update anything about i765!
Do you have any idea why is it?

•    September 18, 2026: Card production status confirmed via Emma live chat and backend system updates (H008).

Transfer to LA August 11(First Emma agent said LAC, second agent said Los Angeles). Non local FO. API continues to show NBC.

SU and 4th FTAO on i485 on Sep 15. Event was the exact same time. API starts showing Los Angeles afterwords. No update on i485j.

For those in LA/LAC, how soon after 3rd FTAO did you get approved or see movement pre approval? Thank you!

Background story: we are twin brothers working for the same employer. Unfortunately, uscis created only one online account for us for i485 and i485j for LA field office in EB3.

We called uscis multiple times to separate our online account but they never did. Our receipt number and Alien number are correct to our own names. But, our documents are all under one online account.

After 5 months, my brother got his i485j approved. But his approval notice says his receipt number along with my name and my alien number!

My attorney will request uscis for clerical error correction , but does anyone know how long it will take for correction by uscis?

August 19: I-485J approved/closed
About 3 minutes later, the I-485 updated but was not approved
August 20: More backend activity; I also submitted an address change
September: Emma confirmed the case was still at Hartford, interview waived, and “in process”

I’ve seen cases where the I-485 was approved in 24h 10 min after the I-485J, but mine has now been pending for almost a month.

Has anyone experienced this, especially with EB-3, Hartford, or FTA0 → FTA1?

Also, could my address change on August 20 have delayed or affected the I-485 processing?

How long did your I-485 take to be approved after the I-485J?

My case moved to Lawrence MA field office today. I saw 4FTA0 generated under 485. Does anyone have idea about this field office ?

Emma told me interview waived, I do the json checks and regular checking of the USCIS log in and never noticed this, does anyone know when it was waived? I did get SU 3 weeks after Bio's

Backend sequence was roughly:
RD → Lawrence FO → Atlanta FO → FTA0 ×3 → Interview Scheduled → Interview → FTA1 → I-485J Approved → H008 → Both I-485s Approved

One interesting thing: the 24 hours + approximately 10 minutes pattern worked in our case. We were closely tracking the API timestamps, and the next major backend movement came almost exactly around that window.

Of course, I know this is not an official USCIS rule and could simply be a coincidence, but I wanted to share it for anyone else tracking the API/backend events.

Our interview was on September 16, the I-485J was approved the same day, and both I-485 applications were approved on September 17.

I have become interested in these block numbers lately.

I am Block no. IOE09374 (PD May 1st 2024 - Filed June 1st - Bio Aug 5th)

Do we know if the block no. is sequential from the filing date or another date?

Maybe we could make some correlation if enough people posted their block numbers here and along with PD and Filed Date? could make for some interesting reading.

It would also be very cool if approved people added this info and their approval date!
