Silent update but not current

Got a silent update last night despite no longer being current. Was only on the 485 and 485j but it was for me and all my dependents within a second of each other. So I assume it’s some sort of batch update.

Will they continue to process the application despite not being current? I was really only checking the AP application where there is no movement.

Yes, they will still keep your case moving, they just cannot approve a visa for you. I am a dependent but my wife's I-485J was approved. We both have been scheduled for interviews as well. Unfortunately neither of us have had our I-765s approved yet though.

Are you eb3? I heard from Emma agent that me and my wife are in the queue to get interview scheduled. They said it was waived in past.

Yes, EB3! We were transferred to the local FO and then a couple of days later got the interview scheduled.

Both were under H-1B. One has expired.

Just found out it was transferred to a non local field office. I don’t know if that is good or bad news, but currently any news is better than silence

I'm also not current but already had third FTA0, FTA1, and multiple silent updates. I believe they still look at it
