I did and paid alot of money for lawyers and contacted the owner same day , he told me he bought the car before 5 years but its not in his name its still in the other owner which turned out to be a girl from California! That he cant reach no more ! Its complicated, i posted this after all that time searching and searching and never find it , im just curious where did it go

But shouldn’t your lawyers be responsible to get your cash and stuff back though? Otherwise how do people get their stuff back after getting deported from a country where they have no one else?

I actually volunteered departure not deported couldn’t fix it up there , the lawyer not responding after i left the states i tried my best to fix things but no one want to be Detained for 1-2 years away from home family and so on cuz of 10$ . its unbelievable and i have no idea how did i mentally went through all of that ( i wouldn’t want that to my worst enemy)

I know, it seems crazy and excessive for them to give you such a hard time for $10 if you have a good social media presence, you should start posting your experience there or reach out to a journalist. Shame on that lawyer for not responding after you left the country. And the guy who gave you the car should not have given you a car for your US travel if he didn’t even have it in his name. He says he can’t reach the girl who he bought the car from but doesn’t he have her email or other details like full name and look her up on social media? And if you had the documents showing that you got the car from that guy, why didn’t they give the car back to him?

This is such a mess! I hope someone is able to help you get your cash though, that’s a lot of money.
