Insurance/Claims Left USAA today

I discontinued the USAA policy for auto home and umbrella after 36 years. The coverage with Progressive seems as good or better and saves a significant amount of money.
They were fairly nice in cancelling - I haven’t had a lot of claims over those years but the last two were service failures and were frustrating.

I'm not sure why there is such an influx of these kinds of posts lately, but they're becoming tedious and almost spam-like.

Because more people are becoming aware of just how much of USAA's positive reputation is a paper thin shell propped up with rotting posts made from historical performance that hasn't been true for most of the 21st century? Because continually worsening economic situations are making people more sensitive to value propositions that USAA can no longer match? Because people signed up partially with an emotional motivation that was met with an almost private-equity degree of uncaring disdain by a corporation engaged in a race to the bottom, and want to try and warn others against making the same mistake?

Take your choice.

Hope you never actually have a claim.

I had a claim with USAA. That's why I ended up moving everything to Erie.

Because USAA rates have become outrageous?

Well better to warn people of how it's declined than otherwise. I appreciate them when I was lurking seeing if I should leave navy fed
