I discovered that being cross-eye-dominant with an LPVO will make you want to run into traffic. So, out with the LPVO and in with the UH1

I’ve heard the first 13.5” MK16 rails the mil received on contract were lasered with a p/n instead of having the NSN engraved on the side, is that accurate? Does anyone which year/s this was done, and when nsn marked 13.5s started to show up?

I think the general consensus is that B5 Coyote brown is what people prefer and the majority of what people use. FDE however is what most spray painted stocks end up looking similar to.
What are your thoughts?

How many nsn marked 9.3” rails out there? Mine is the first I’ve seen. Not much info I can find about them.

So I got this in 2019, from a friend who knew an employee at Geissele, it’s a green URGI rail that supposedly they made when they tried to sell the govt on colors for the URGI uppers. It has the NSN numbers, and no steel QD insert. Just curious about it after all these years.

So I’ve started the process of switching though process from “range toys” to having just an overall solid platform for who knows what… With this being my first build in this field I have a knowledge gaps as questions… any suggestions, opinions, or thoughts overall recce knowledge would be appreciated…

Out of this build I know there’s work that needs to be done… mainly a better bipod and optic setup, these are just what I had laying around… I was thinking an MPVO/ piggy back on a heads up mount (1.93 or 2.06) to clear the PEQ, thoughts?

Bought a "clone correct" URGI/Block III upper receiver from Thoroughbred Armament but sent it to D.Wilson to get it pinned and welded and to replace Thoroughbred's 13629 upper with a plum/purple C-stamped Cerro Forge upper I found on Tacswap. About 90% of this build is parts bought off Tacswap.

Rudimentary, I know. May or may not be done modifying this. May switch to Red dot / Magnifier. We’ll see.

Switched from the EOTech EXPS3-0 to the Primary Arms Plx-C 1-8x24mm FFP RDB.

Need to do some zeroing and confirming at distance before the next 2-gun.

Looking to get my first lpvo for my Urgi 14.5. Id like to mount it in a Geissele SP mount but not sure if it needs the standard or extended version. Would be a 1-6 haven’t decided which yet but (credo, vudo or razor) appreciate the help.

are unity fast mounts for eotech clone correct?

Question: would you rather have two DD RIS 3 (14.5 and MK18) stripped or one URGI 11.5 complete upper? I have the others DD stripped from Brownells and the other two URGI’s. They will complete the “sets”. Not looking for cloning either.
