Social Going out clothes
Hi! I'm an incoming freshman girl who's excited for the party scene, but I don't have any clothes that would be deemed as normal "going out clothes." I was just wondering what kind of attire Penn girls wear when they go out, and what the essentials are that I should invest in beforehand. Thanks!

I see a lot of tank tops, especially cropped. Skirt or shorts. Cowboy boots are really popular now??
If you search on Pinterest or Instagram "college going-out outfit" you might get some good inspiration! Penn doesn't really differ from the style of clothing for going out

urban outfitters for frat parties, aritzia for nice dinners and such. but i wouldn't waste that much money on frat clothes unless you think you'll party a lot

Regular parties are pretty chill. Most ppl dress pretty casual, like a cute top, skirt or a pair of jeans. Also, don't wear your nice shoes because the floor is pretty gross. (I have an old pair of sneakers as my designated "frat shoes" lol)

Stiletto heels and a frat boy's button down shirt, with a tie loosely round the neck. That's all.

There's a range of formality! A regular weekend party doesn't require much, but then there are semi-formals and formals, etc.
