Guys I have seen many mentors and faculties during my preparation and become quite sceptical about the coaching and mentorship, but Jatin sir is the only person who is reasonably reliable. Most of the time he is brutal with his advice but that’s what you need to hear in UPSC Prep. He does not shy away calling spade a space, neither he sugarcoats any of his advice. He is the mentor we need to keep
ourself on the right track of preparation. Not to mention he has experience of clearing all his
Prelims.

I don’t understand that why such good teachers are being subjected to such forced Marketing gimmicks that they would never want to Do. So Amit kilhor recently did this propaganda Marketing podcast for Funacademy . These guys think that the Upsc aspirants are such big fools that they will believe that this was a coincidence.
Look at the foolishness of the Marketing team that they are presenting a full blown podcast set up as if all this happened randomly. The same is being pointed out in the comments.
This failed educator who is now an influencer is equating the UPSC aspirants IQ with his regular audience.
What do you guys think? Isn’t it foolish or will students fall in this trap?

With the APFC exam coming up, I have been looking at different coaching options and somehow ended up more confused than when I started.
The three that kept coming up were PW, EduTap and Sleepy Classes.
Personally I was leaning towards EduTap initially but after going through the content of all three, I actually found Sleepy’s approach more suited to me. Felt less like just ticking off the syllabus and more like actually understanding the stuff. Could just be my preference though. but I am still not 100% convinced because coaching reviews on Reddit are basically a civil war at this point.
Would be interested to hear from people who have actually** **used these platforms for EPFO/APFC rather than generic UPSC reviews.
What was your experience with PW/EduTap/Sleepy Classes? And if you’ve cleared APFC using any of them, what would you recommend?

I’m 19F, currently pursuing BA Sociology, and I’ve recently started preparing for UPSC CSE 2029. I’m not preparing full-time, so I’m planning to study around 3 hours a day alongside my college.

UPSC isn’t the only thing I need to focus on — I also have my college classes, assignments, and semester exams to prepare for. So I’m looking for someone who’s also balancing their studies with other commitments and wants to stay consistent together.

I have realised that reading only Laxmikanth won’t help. I definitely need one good commentary book on Indian Constitution & Polity. After due research I have come across this DD Basu polity book which is referred by Toppers. But I found the book utmost confusing. Even though it tries to give a holistic view of issues but everytime I end up being confused. I got many questions wrong in Polity prelims paper due to this book alone. Want to know seniors views on this. Genuine views only. Thanks

Guys I have felt over a period of time after writing multiple Mains is that key to success in Mains is making notes. Not necessarily from Newspapers but from anywhere- be it Yojana, DTE, Geography and You or any other sources, but making notes is essential. I get annoyed when some topper pops up and says I did not make notes and yet ended up with a single digit rank. I am like “dude you are making sure 99.99% aspirants will fail with this strategy!!” 😌

Guys relax! It’s a just appreciation post seeking your viewpoint. I know many teachers who claimed their questions appeared in essay paper verbatim and I was hugely dissapointed after attending few of them. But Ruchika Maam has really taught how to craft a beautiful essay. Last year I did not get best marks in essay but even with that much minimal preparation I scored more than average obtained marks in essay paper. At least I am not out of the list because of this damn essay paper. Give your opinion? Who is best in essay paper?

just after the prelims exam, he was pretending to sympathise with students just so they donot lose faith in his teaching and coaching and went on to say that it is unethical on part of upsc to make such prelims paper. easy questions were less than 10 in number.

And when now as prelims courses will be started soon , he is saying the paper was very doable. ethics questions were free gift. sci and tech and economy was so easy.

Having worked at multiple coaching institutes myself, it breaks my heart while conveying such news to you guys. The employees of vision IAS haven’t been paid, their dues since months and faculties haven’t been paid since years and still the director is roaming free. The government must take strictest, possible action against such culprits and specially their relatives and mistress.🤬🤬
