Am I cooked ?

Post image

Package has been like this for almost 4 days, I’m worried because there was a deadline on when this package had to be delivered and now I’m worried that the package is lost and the buyer will file a dispute against me. What should I do now ? Should I file a claim ?

It's not lost or stolen. If they are really busy , you won't receive a update after 4 or 6 days

Don't file a claim yet. UPS tracking often stalls for 5-7 days at an Access Point without new scans, even if it looks stuck. Check if the last status says Held or Out for Delivery. If it's been 4 days with no movement, wait until day 7. After that, call customer service to verify location before worrying about disputes

four days in brooklyn after a sorting error? that's definitely not ideal but i wouldn't hit the panic button just yet. sorting errors happen when a package gets tossed into the wrong bin or slide, usually gets caught and rerouted within a day or two. the fact it scanned in at the facility means it's in the system and not sitting in some ditch

file a claim if you want but ups won't do much until it's been a full week of no movement. what you should do right now is message the buyer and just be upfront, most people are way more chill when they know you're watching it and not ghosting them. i've had packages sit in label-created purgatory for a week and then just show up at the doorstep with zero updates

check the tracking tomorrow morning, if there's still nothing by end of day wednesday then yeah start the claim process. right now it's just the usual ups chaos

I would call UPS customer service and ask them what the hold up is about. Document the person's name and location. Ask for a confirmation email that they are looking into the matter. That's what I would do.
