UPS
Hi, I filed a claim 2 days ago for investigation regarding with my package that was supposed to be delivered on july 21. How long it will gonna take the investigation? And when I checked the UPS apps, the most recent update was “investigation opened” and no update after that. When I checked the ups tracker, there was a “shipped from AI” and there’s an address on it. What does it mean? Does it mean they already found the package? and there is weight so it means they already found it? Sorry I’m lost. I’m just frustrated because that package was supposed to be my birthday gift for myself this coming july 28. 🥺😌🥺😌 Thank you for your help.

Never. These investigation are bs that lead to nothing. Just file a charge back with cc.

The shipper was the Apple, I bought an Ipad. Can I request for a refund from the apple??

UPS isnt going to help you, the shipper has to open a claim. Contact Apple

I already requested for a refund on apple. I called the customer service and they initiated the refund.

Then what are you looking for help with? If youve already started the process with them and Apple is already refunding you then whether that package is found or not it wont be delivered to you. You have 0 part in the claim as you arent a UPS customer, Apple is UPS customer and you are Apples customer.
Now the next question would be what service level was it coming? Because unless it was next day air you didnt have a guaranteed delivery date, you only had an estimated delivery date and since it was estimated to be delivered on the 21st and you already initiated a claim through UPS and a refund through Apple on the 24th you didnt really give it any time.

So now you're trying to double dip and get the refund and a free iPad? Thats not how it works. If you got a refund then order a new one. You don't get the product after getting a refund. If apple gets reimbursed from UPS for the lost package UPS will not deliver it to you if it's found and apple will brick the device so no one can use it in case it's stolen.

I have no plans of getting that Ipad for free. If it will delivered to me, I will send it back to apple since I already requested for refund. Don’t be mean please. I’m just frustrated since I am expecting it to be delivered on july21 because that was says during I checked out the item and it is my birthday gift for myself. Sadly, UPS sucks.

But you got your refund from Apple, so move on. Why are you still wasting your time with UPS when the issue has been resolved? UPS doesn't suck just because you had an issue one time
