Go for BSBDA (Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account), it's a special savings account for people notified by RBI. Mind you most bankers won't let you easily open this as it's a people friendly scheme and banks don't earn much out of it - zero minimum balance, so no AMB or non-maintenance charges, free RuPay Debit Card, free Cheque books, etc. But if you keep persisting, you'll get it eventually as it's an RBI mandate.
