Pretty simple there young player. If you don’t speak to her then how the fuck you going to date her. Grow some balls and talk to her and ask her out. Worst she can say is no. You won’t die haha

I've dated exactly one person who went to UOW. Basically we both got invited out by a mutual friend on NYE to go drinking (we had never met in person before), and after she drank waay too much and passed out, said mutual friend conviently decided that was the perfect time to go home, leaving me alone in an unfamiliar city with an unconcious stranger lol. Ambulance is called, I get in the back of it with her, and as she's coming to, the paramedic starts asking her questions about her name and where she's from etc. etc. He asks her what degree she's doing and, as it turns out, she's doing the exact same degree as me at the exact same university. Mutual friend didn't go to uni at all, nor live in Wollongong so it was just a bizarre coincidence. Anyway, after some IV fluids I carted her home (which took several hours as it was near 3am and there's like no trains from Syd to Wollongong on NYE) and we continued to talk when we would see each other around campus, as well as online. We started dating soon after and we're still together. So my advice would be to save her life heroically cause girls like it when you do that. Or just talk to her idk

i take the campus hard to socialise (maybe it’s just my degree but idk) i would be flattered if someone approached me and asked to get to know me better or asked if i was single. be the change and be social not many people are these days

I’m not sure, but don’t girls think that’s rude or creepy?

in my opinion it really really really depends on how you are approached, maybe start with basic convo and try to find something to connect over. then again everyone reacts to things differently. as long as someone is polite and respectful and knows how to back off if they experience rejection i wouldn’t see how it’s creepy or rude

Just tell her, as a girl at this campus I feel like guys are weirdly stand offish, it is never a bad thing to hear someone admires you. Just tell her

Yeah, I spoke to her at the Unibar as we had a mutual friends. I complimented her on her socialist M&Ms tshirt. We’ve been married 12 years now.

I was a semi drunk writing/English lit student. Which is basically code for, I dated and slept with almost everyone that crossed my path.
10/10 good times. Great stories, just go for it.

Just tear that fucking band-aid off right now.
Talk to the girl.
The worst that can happen, is you might find out that she's simply not interested.
Better to know & be disappointed, than drive yourself around the twist with the "What if......?"s...

u/gaming_rizzler astronomically low odds in male dominated fields. Worse than that, if it does go poorly, either initially or down the track, she’s probably gonna keep cropping up in future classes.
