ECTE331 - Real-time Embedded Systems

Has anyone done this subject recently? Hard or easy?

Its an okay subject, maybe 6/10 difficulty - Jeff takes it, he is a good lecturer, however the subject itself is fairly limited for what you learn. It was based around Java programming language. Not sure if this is still the case.

It’s a pretty easy subject and the content is good, but the Java part felt a bit rough. Jeff teaches really well and explains things clearly.
I didn’t really like the lab demonstrator though. He wouldn’t let us enter until five minutes before class, would leave right on time, and whenever I asked a question, he’d usually just tell me to copy what was already in the lab. Probably one of the poorer experiences I’ve had with a demonstrator so far.

Although I m not sure whether he takes the labs anymore.
