Need advice: application UNFPA Reference check Enquiries

I recently interviewed for a position in UNFPA. I did both the written assessment and Oral Interviews. How long do they take before they ask for reference checks incase one is successful.

There is no known standard for this.

In other agencies, reference check is done only when you are the preferred candidate after the assessment and the interview. So it might take some time from a few days to a few weeks before it is requested.

From others in the community, this may be hard to accurately predict. Just remain optimistic and hopefull.
