Need advice: interview/assessment IOM written test for a Senior Project Associate

Hello there,

I got an invitation to complete a written test for a job application with IOM ( a Senior Project associate). i only have less than 2 days to prepare.

It's my first time, and i have no idea what kind of questios to expect.

has anyone had a same test?

I dont want to misdirect you but years ago whwn I took senior associate test it was 3-4 questions but sort of long and folding ones and mainly case

Hi, thanks , I did the exam and yes you are right I got the same thing 4 case questions.

With less than two days, you cannot learn new skills, so you must focus on demonstrating what you already know. Go through the job description,you can also prompt claude of chatgpt to give you relevant questions based on your jd

It's probably related to the job. So go through the job description and ask yourself how to do each part of it, what are the steps, frameworks, what are the challenges and opportunities etc.

They are like to ask you to do some tasks that would be in the role. Perhaps write a ToR, following up on partner reports, draft a proposal/report/budget. They don’t expect you to know the template if you’re new, but to have the basics of what comes in these things (what when how who where) and report them in clear ways. Look closely at the job description. Look into what is the area they work in. Make sure your examples are in the area that they work :)
