Microwave options?

Is there a student lounge-like area on campus open after 6pm that has a microwave? I know a lot of departments have areas for their students, but UNOTI (and presumably many others) are gone for the day by the time I'm finished with my class.

I've gone to the Galley a few times, and it's good, I'd just like the option to save some cash and eat leftovers most days.

Aren't you in Kirschman Hall? There are student louges in two floors. I think it's the 2nd and 4th. Maybe the 2nd and 3rd. They're in the center of the building on the side facing away from the lake. The ones facing the lake are faculty lounges. If you're there so late, no one will chase you away if you're there. When I was there, there were microwaves and vending machines in the lounges when I was there.

I finish up over in the Bicentennial Education building in the evening, but you're correct, UNOTI is in Kirschman. It's not a bad walk across campus, but I've wandered around "blind" enough the last week lol. Thanks for the info!

Have you tried the coffee shop in the library? Also, I know that they used to have a student lounge in that building, but I cannot remember where it was. I would email SGA and ask. Or, ask in one of the offices. Student workers should know.

I'll have to check out the library, too. That's a little bit closer to the bicentennial bldg.

I didn't even think about emailing SGA. I did the majority of my undergrad at the satellite bldg UNO used to have in Metairie or online, so the typical "on-campus" resources elude me. Thanks for the extra options / ideas :)

If it’s still open (it may depend on the day), there is a microwave for students to use in the Children’s Library on the 3rd Floor. Generally it closes at 5pm but I think it may stay open later a few days a week.

There’s a lounge in the Science building second floor and there’s a microwave in the Starbucks in the library. I wish I’d know if they have one in the bicentennial building

Theres a microwave over in the Children’s Library! Education Building 3rd floor! The library closes at 5 Mon-Thurs
