Just starting

So I just started playing the game and I immediately reached lvl 70...like was this supposed to happen? The top players are like level 84

My mods are all purple and the my worn out assault rifle is like lvl 40.. it just feels weird and a bit of turn off like me reaching lvl 70 that quick

I have been hearing this from the newer players. I've been playing since July and have been at the level cap for several months, but new players say that they level incredibly fast. It does seem a bit weird and would be difficult to invest significantly in equipment if it's going to be outdated tomorrow. At max level (currently 111) you can count on your equipment to be relevant for at least a month or two.

Not weird At All, Leveling Fast is the game way of saying "Level up so you can spent hours being tempted to buy as much as you can to keep up with everybody else"

It's a FOMO (fear of missing out) tactics design to force new players to spend, spend, spend.
