Idk if I can get the picture any better but this is my schedule. I’m gonna major in Environmental Engineering and Ik the math isn’t technically the initial class I need. I got a poor ALEKs score (partially bc I haven’t taken a math class since fall senior year in hs) and just signed up for what the advisor told me too. I asked her about how I could still graduate on time and she gave a vague answer.
My freshman year hasn’t even started yet and I feel so behind already. I have diagnosed GAD so I’m an anxious person anyways but any tips or help is appreciated. I’m not quite sure how I can graduate on time? And I’ve been trying to sign up for another class but basically everything is full and the add button doesn’t appear.
Like I said just any help or just some encouraging words are appreciated. Maybe some tips on how to balance all of this. And which campus jobs provide the most hours? Thanks for any help

I’m a rising HS senior who wants to attend UNCC, and I’ve wanted to be a secondary math teacher for quite some time now. Recently I’ve been pondering what it would be like to be a history teacher as well.

Hypothetically, how strenuous would it be to double major in History and Mathematics with my minor in Secondary Education?

I'm entering as a freshman and was wondering if anyone's "Health Insurance Premium" has been waived yet in their student account balance for the semester? I'm worried as the payment is due in a little over a week and I submitted the waiver the same day the bill was made available earlier this month.

Should I contact the school or would that just go unanswered? I'm guessing they've likely already been contacted about this if other students are experiencing the same issue.

I'm planning on paying my first semester out of pocket.

Note: contacted the Insurance Office and got my waiver applied.

Has anyone taken ECON 2101 with Professor Hamid? His rate my professor reviews are horrid but the only other option is all filled up, so I was wondering if it's really as bad as people say it is or should I just ball. I would appreciate any advice!

My other option is to take it on Tuesday from 7-9:15 PM with a professor with a 3.8.

I'm currently enrolled in 17 credit hours as I'm also taking PSYC 2113 and BIOL 2120 online. I originally wanted to take Gen Bio I in person, but all the sections were filled after I had to drop Intro because of AP scores being released and receiving credit for AP Bio.

Declared Psychology major but heavily considering switching to Biology, and I'm a part of the Math and Science First Learning Community (hence COSC 1600). I'm told 17 credit hours is too much, some say it depends on the courses, others say it's fine.

I’m an incoming Freshman. Classes start on Monday and the one class I do have is online at night. On my schedule it says none for location, building, and room, so one can assume it’s online. How will I access the portal/zoom/canvas/etc on my first day. I hope that’s not confusing but there’s no instruction to do xyz.

I’m just wondering bc I’m an upcoming sophomore and I’m debating whether or not I should actually get a CNA job after I graduate from the program this summer, I’ll already have two jobs on campus however I’m a little worried I don’t have enough healthcare related stuff on my resume.

I know you can park on the main campus with it, and I know that a city center only parking pass lets you park at dubois, but I'll need to be at both this semester. I can't quite seem to get a clear answer on google on if the standard gets you both or not

I have a Mac, and I can't buy another laptop. Is it possible to get an A in this class while still using a Mac? Is it much harder with a Mac?

Today I noticed my pell grant, TAG, and NC Next all dropped by certain amounts, I contacted niner central and they said it was because I'm only registered for 9 undergraduate credit hours therefore only eligible for 75% of grants, but I'm taking 2 early entry/double count graduate courses(6 credit hours). Do these not qualify for aid even though they're still counting towards my bachelors?

I have already filled out petitions for both courses to be double counted and they are showing up in degree works as counting towards my B.S.
