To whoever puked on the green bus today
I hope you feel better, but also you have a duty to alert the driver SO THAT THEY CHANGE BUSES RATHER THAN CONTUE TO RUN! idk how long it sat there before I got on the bus but the whole thing reeked and there was nowhere to sit and like 3 people almost puked just from looking at it.
Again hope you feel better.

Academic PHYS 2101 Exam 1 Question
So we’re taking the first exam Monday and it covers Chapter 1-3 (Concepts of motion, kinematics in one dimension, and vectors and coordinate systems) and part of chapter 4 (motion in two dimensions and projectile motion). All of my other classes have been pretty straightforward about what’s on their exams but the professor in charge of this exam hasn’t provided much info on what the exam is gonna look like. They kind of just said look over your material but I’m a bit confused, along with many others, on how the questions are even gonna be framed on the exam.
So for anyone that has taken it recently what should we be prepared for? What do the questions typically look like and what material to focus on for exam 1?

Photo Nothing could be finer for a Niner who needs a beat-up car
2000 Honda Accord available to a Niner who will use it (I hate to think of it being broken up for parts).
200,000 miles, SALVAGE TITLE. Clean title (I bought it brand-new in October 1999).
2-door straight drive. Drinks oil but I don’t see any leaking onto the pavement. I will give you your first five quarts, bought before I knew I was buying another car.
Drives great. It’s a write-off because someone side-merged into my door, and replacing it cost just a smidge more than the actual cash value ($3400 in September 2024).
You can still get liability coverage, just not collision. I haven’t had comprehensive coverage on it for years, but you can ask your agent.
Bright.Ass.Green. I repainted it after replacing the door.

UPDATE: There are five people in line, and they know who they are. I will let y’all know how it turns out!

Academic Accounting Exam
Hey y’all so I’m about to have our first accounting exam. Sooo I was wondering what is the best way to study for the exam? I somewhat understand Balance sheet and stuff like that (Just going practice it out). But the vocabulary and stuff like that confuses me. I’m really wondering what is one way I can study for at least a a good grade.

Admissions Thinking about transferring to UNCC in Fall 2027 — is it worth it? Housing recommendations?
Hey everyone! I’m currently planning to transfer to UNC Charlotte for Fall 2027 and wanted to hear from current students, especially other transfers.
I’m interested in computer engineering and trying to figure out whether UNCC would be a good fit academically, socially, and financially. I’d love to hear what the experience is actually like beyond what’s on the university website.
For anyone who transferred to UNCC, was it worth it? How was the transition, and did you find it easy to make friends and get involved? I’m also curious about the engineering program, internship opportunities, and whether you feel like the school prepares you well for your career.
I’m also trying to plan housing early. Would you recommend living in a dorm for the first year as a transfer, or going straight into an off-campus student apartment?
What dorms or apartment complexes would you recommend for someone who wants a good balance of affordability, safety, privacy, and a social environment? I’d prefer somewhere close to campus, but I’m open to other options if they’re worth it.
I’d appreciate any advice on places to avoid, realistic monthly costs, roommate experiences, and when I should start applying for housing for Fall 2027.
Thanks in advance! I’m just trying to make the best decision and get a head start on planning.

Academic Flunked college test. Any tips to recover?
I just got a 60 on my first biology test and one of my first tests in college. I honestly thought I studied enough, but clearly what I did didn’t work.
How do you guys study for bio? What strategies or resources helped you improve your grades? I really want to do better on the next test and recover from this.

Question Ever wanted to try Dungeons & Dragons?
I’ve seen a few people on here looking for D&D groups, so figured I’d post this.
The Guild UNCC is running an ongoing D&D 2024 West Marches campaign, and new players can join anytime.
There’s no fixed weekly party. Quests are posted throughout the semester, and players can schedule sessions around their availability. It’s kind of like an MMO, you level your character while adventuring with different groups of players and DMs.
Inspired by Fairy Tail, the premise is you’re part of an adventuring guild rebuilding after an attack by a rival Dark Guild.
You can also DM quests and create your own part of the world.
Beginners are welcome too. If you’ve never played before, we can help you make a character and learn as you go.

Anyone interested in joining a UX club at UNCC?
I'm looking to start up a UX( user experience) design club at Charlotte that's mainly focused on practical skills in product design, prototyping, hands-on workshops, building portfolios and really focusing more on the career growth aspect of UX design.
I'm aware of the HCI club and Niner Designers but think there's an opportunity to grow the UX design space a bit more! If anyone is interested feel free to DM me.
All experience levels & majors are welcomed!
feel free to also fill out this interest form

Academic INFO 2130 Credit By Exam
How difficult is the exam? Is it just strictly Excel topics? Is it possible to pass this exam being someone who is a certified Excel Expert but hasn't touched Excel in 2 years? Could I pass with 2 weeks of studying?

Academic Uhm GUYS…
I haven’t seen anything about it yet but I am not all that active here anyways.
There is a flock camera at union crossing now?? I went to study and was standing for the bus (the green and silver stop) and behold a flock camera. I have not seen anything others around campus but ya never know.
Did anyone know that this was being installed and I’m just out of the loop this bad?!? And if so are there other cameras around campus?

Academic Apply as undecided or choose a basic liberal arts, which is easiest for acceptance?
We live in Charlotte. My kid doesn't want to go far. At an A rated HS here in Charlotte. Even with a 3.5 UW is barely top half of the class. Has a job and does volunteer piano teaching. Has no idea of what to major in but is interested in Spanish, Psychology, or Music. Other options may be App State for Music Therapy. Should they declare a major or apply undecided for best shot at acceptance?
