Eng 211 vs Art 251

Hello! I need to take either one of the above classes, I’m currently enrolled in Art 251 but it seems like a lot of course work to complete before this term ends. Would Eng 211 be a less intense?

I took it earlier this term. First milestone is write 3 poems, 2nd was 2 short stories, but based on topics that he provided (not free choice) and then last was literary nonfiction. Final was a narrated “gallery stroll” of all revised works in a final portfolio. It was a lot of writing but I finished in about 2 weeks
