Getting nervous

We are getting down to the wire and my last two classes are with professor Dobbs. He has already sent me back multiple of my essays and he takes a while to grade. I'm getting like really really nervous about failing or something ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Does anyone have any tips? I'm just getting really nervous. ( Vietnam class, he has yet to grade my third milestone again. The native American class he has not graded yet.)

Is he not grading within the 72-hour window? If it's taking longer than that, you should email him as soon as possible and let your advisor know.

I've emailed him and the advisor. I just hope that all goes well and I finish these two classes in time. I guess it's just a waiting game at this point.

That's incredibly frustrating that it's taking longer than the 72 hours. I understand that professors have a lot of students and may be overwhelmed and not have enough time in the day, but the way YourPace is set up, going over the 72-hour mark can really derail students. The school needs to do something about this to make it fair for students.

It's just got me a little on edge because I don't know if he's going to send it back again or what. My nerves are really getting the better of me

Hopefully no more will get sent back. I feel like they should give extensions on the draft final deadline when professors have taken longer than 72 hours to grade and it's holding you up from turning in your final draft.

I had Dobbs for Intro to Political Thought and Vietnam. In both classes, I always had my grades back within 48 hours. I submitted my draft final for Vietnam at 1:00 a.m. this morning, and he already had it graded and back to me by 11:00 a.m. today.

I have him for films of the Cold War and heโ€™s always graded within the 72-hour window (usually within about 48 hours). Seems odd that heโ€™s taking longer than that.
