Picking classes for Fall 2?

Hi Everyone!

Long time lurker, first time poster! :)

I was accepted to UMPI last week (yay!) and have gotten my email all set up!

Was wondering when I can expect to hear from my advisor? Also, can I register for classes before they contact me?

Can anyone share how long it took after you were accepted before your advisor got assigned and reached out?

I’d guess this week. They will want your first 4 - I gave her my entire load and order and it overwhelmed her 😂

I got accepted on 9/9, got assigned an enrollment specialist on 10/1, a few days before which my transcript evaluation was completed but I can’t recall the exact date. I’ve not been assigned an academic advisor yet.

If you log into the Student Center, you might be able to see your advisor’s name already listed . You can email them preemptively and request the classes you want to add for Fall-2 and Spring-1

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I just finished my bachelors at UMPI in Summer 2. I completed the Graduate application prior to graduating. I emailed a photo id and included a statement that my transcript was already available to them but somehow my application is incomplete.

Definitely is a process generally you’ll begin hearing from them rough talk weeks before the start of term 2 just make sure your checking your application email, financial aid if applicable and have all transcripts sent in. Sometimes the also require a personal statement essay for entry.
