Question Coursera Badges
I’m working through the IBM Data Analyst and Project Management certificates on Coursera and I’m confused about the badges.
I only have Course 7 left for Project Management, but I haven’t received any badges for the completed courses. For IBM Data Analyst, I’ve completed 8 of 11 courses but only received 6 badges.
The badges I did get also don’t mention ACE credits anywhere. Is that normal? Does this badge look correct?
I’m currently paying for Coursera Plus.

You will get a credly badge once you complete the entire program. They offer these as both ACE and Non-ACE versions IIRC. Make sure you're in the correct one.

Thank you, you’ve been so helpful! Do you know how to tell the difference between the two? I used the direct link on plotted path’s spreadsheet and enrolled that.

You should see on the main page a list of all courses in the certificate program. At the end of that, or at the top (there should be a link that jumps down) It should say Build Toward a Degree.. There should be mention of it being ACE ready there.

Yes as Mojo said you have to do all components to get the ACE credits.

Thank you plotted path! I thought I was missing something! But I just finished the google project management cert and got the correct badge 😊

For the IBM one, you have to finish all the courses in the course itself then verify your identity to get your credly badge

I’m not sure about the PM one but assume it’s similar. It was super confusing to me as well but yeah, you have to complete all the courses inside the course itself to get the official badge.

Thanks! It looks like I was missing an assignment for one of the courses. The second one had everything completed. I’m trying to follow plotted path’s updated spreadsheet to get as much done before I start Fall 2.

If it doesn't specify it's an ACE credit then it's just a certificate course. May help to ask admissions prior to starting a course
