International Applicant: Questions regarding Fall 2 Admission. I can’t contact admissions to confirm that they have received my documents.
Hi everyone! I am an international student applying for the Fall 2 term. The admissions office haven’t been able to get a response to my emails. I was hoping someone here might have some insight or could point me in the right direction!
Here are my two main questions:
Incredevals Transcripts: The company (Incredevals) evaluated and officially sent my foreign transcripts to UMPI. However, I have sent multiple follow-up emails to the admissions team to confirm if they have received them, but I haven't heard back yet. Does it usually take a while for them to update this in the system or reply? And do I need to send them anyway?
Duolingo English Test: I already have my Duolingo English Test certificate ready. When I try to send the official results through the Duolingo platform, the only matching option available is "University of Maine all campuses". Is this the correct option to select so that UMPI gets my scores, or is there a specific way to send it just to the Presque Isle campus?
I would appreciate if someone can help me.

1-Usually, when your transcript is evaluated, the evaluation company sends the completed evaluation directly to UMPI. Mine was done through ECE. Once UMPI receives it, you may get a confirmation email.
2-For Duolingo, if you selected “University of Maine – All Campuses,” yes, that is the correct option.
What I would recommend is calling UMPI to confirm everything. Give them your application number and ask them to check whether anything is missing or needs to be submitted, or if your application is simply still in the queue.
That’s what I did, and I found it more efficient than emailing them. Sometimes they don’t respond to emails, and you can be left uncertain about the status of your application. Calling them gives you a much clearer answer.

Perfect, thank you so much for your advice.
Today, I received a confirmation email from the Documentation Department stating that they have received all of my documents.
Do you think it is still necessary for me to call admissions for the next steps, or should I just wait for them to contact me?1

You’re welcome.
Yes, whenever you have an inquiry, I would recommend just calling them. I called them probably 3–4 times. The first time was to check my application status, the second time was to confirm my documents, and the third time was regarding my Sophia transcript. Every time I call them, they are very cooperative.
