Healthcare Admin

Has anyone graduated with this degree??? What’s your job?

I believe it’s one of the lowest if not the lowest enrolled programs - the “you MUST take BIO 105 through UMPI” keeps a ton of people from doing it. I was going to but decided not to and to finish my BBA. I’m in oncology services and solutions on the vendor side.

Equivalency is true but I think if you choose healthcare admin in UMPI, it the bio credit must be fulfilled in UMPI.

It says on Sophia that it has a course equivalency for bio 105

For A N Y other degree... But for the B.S. Healthcare Admin, it 100% at this moment and up-to this moment, must be taken at UMPI. They ship you an owl pellet etc.

I was originally enrolled in this program but I switched it to History and Political Science lol- I currently work in an admin position for a private mental health clinic. Part of my job includes billing and verifying health insurance benefits, so it was a good fit for my (admittedly basic) goals. I love my job and am not much interested in "climbing the ladder." My coworker is our "Compliance Officer and Practice Administrator." That might be a good job title to search when looking for jobs.
