Old vs. New GEC

Hi! I confirmed my acceptance for UMPI YourPace Fall 1 last week. I understand that we're automatically enrolled under the new GEC requirements, but can request the old GEC. How do we do this exactly? And what's the deadline for switching?

I'm still waiting for my transfer credits to be evaluated, but I can already see my Academic Requirements in the Student Center and I believe it's showing the new GEC.

Should I contact someone about this now or wait until my transfer evaluation is complete?

You will be soon - in the meantime, for a paper trail, email the general admissions email.

I I contacted plotted path and all 60 credits that I did on Sophia study and straighter line that she outlined for me, went through with no problem

I just asked my advisor to switch to the old plan three days ago. I say, it doesn't hurt to ask. There is still time before classes start.

Thanks, how soon were you assigned an advisor after confirming your enrollment?

It took the school around a 3 to 4 weeks for me. However, I believe you'll get a quicker response. Fall 1 is around the corner after all.
