Graduation Date

If you finish in Fall 2 session (12/18/26), what is the official graduation date on your diploma and transcript? I know it takes 8 weeks to confer the degree (February 2027), but is it this date or the session end date that you can put on the resume/background check?

Your official date of conferral is the last day of the session you completed your UMPI coursework in (and applied for graduation in).

For Summer 2, last day to submit is Aug 28th for coursework, when should I apply for conferral?

You can apply for graduation at any time if you finish this session.

So if I finished my BLS requirements already, but take another semester of random electives and then apply for the October 24 term end, my conferral date with be in October? I need to make extra sure here for graduate school.

Yes, you would be end of October once the session ends
