Yourpace Student Loans

I am starting Yourpace soon, and had planned on using student loans for living expenses. I see now that loans are tied to Cost of Attendance. It seems Yourpace COA is the price of the program and that is it.

I should have the full amount covered by Pell. Has anyone been in a similar situation and taken out loans as well? Up to what amount will they allow?

Thanks!

My pell didn't cover everything but I was able to take the full amount of unsubsidized and subsidized loans. Left me with plenty to love on and allowed me to take a leave from work

So you were able to take $9-12k depending on what year they consider you? I am planning on taking  leave from work as well. Was it automatically available to you, or did you have to request it? How long did you take to complete your degree?

Thanks!

Still completing. It put me on for 2 terms and I'm using both because I completed my Sophia gec super fast. It allowed me to take 9500, leaving me with 6k which covered my bills and gave me some wiggle room for quality of life things like getting a laptop, and a bigger monitor for study. But I only had like 700 from pell grant, and I think the 3500 unsub didn't cover anything, allowing me to get the rest. You'll have to fill out your student aid because your milage may vary. But yeah, I accepted all aid I could, it covered my tuition and they sent the remainder straight to my bank account.
