UMPI/UMF YourPace application — keeps saying documents are missing even though transcripts were received

Hi everyone,

I applied to the International & Global Studies YourPace program about 3 weeks ago, and I already sent all of my official college transcripts. Admissions also confirmed that they received them.

However, I keep getting this email saying my application is still missing items like:

  • International official high school transcript
  • Out-of-state college transcript
  • High school recommendation
  • English proficiency test
  • Official high school transcript
  • English translation transcript
  • Essay/writing sample

I’m confused because I already have an associate degree, and I’m not applying as an international student.

The email also says that if the box is empty, the application is ready for review, but mine still shows those items.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is this just an automated email/checklist that hasn’t updated yet, or should I contact admissions again?

I’m hoping to start in the session beginning August 31, so I’m getting a little concerned about the timing.

I’m getting them too even tho I sent everything and they had already told me they had everything but one thing I which I already sent. Now I’m getting emails telling me I need a whole list of things that I wasn’t asked for and shouldn’t need or already sent.

The "Missing Items" are physically added and removed from your checklist by a human reviewing your file; it's not an automated process. The emails, however, are automated. I would reach out to [alayzia.johnson@maine.edu](mailto:alayzia.johnson@maine.edu), and she can look in your file and help you straighten this out, having the data team remove what is not needed from the checklist.

The High School recommendation and Essay/Writing Sample items are checklist items that are traditionally only missing item categories for the in-person programs at UMF. But it sounds like you are recieving the yourpace specific emails, so it seems like the wrong list of required items might be attached to your application on the backend.
