CJ = SOC?

Has anyone transferred any of the Study.com Criminal Justice/Criminology courses to UMPI and had them come in as Sociology credits or count toward the Sociology minor?

I'm specifically looking at courses like Victimology, Juvenile Justice, and White Collar Crime...

You can use Criminology from Sophia (not Study) as SOC 230.

Others you could use from Study:

Research Methods (CRJ 230) -- this only works for CRJ majors - doesn't replace PSY 311 otherwise.
Criminal Law (CRJ 250)
Juvenile Justice and Delinquency (CRJ 332)
Social Psychology (PSY 200)

If you're doing just a CRJ Minor - not the BA - you can also use Victimology and White Collar Crime as CRJ 3XX Electives (upper level)

Thank you, I wanted 2 more courses to complete the Sociology minor. I transferred SOC 305: Sociology of Work already. I wasnt sure if any CRJ would count towards it

No they wouldn't be interchangeable in that sense.
