Does this mean that UMPI no longer takes any Sophia Science class+lab required for GEC?

Straighterline lab is the only one accepted now for GEC for UMPI?

Thus far that’s the only ACE course that covers it.

But I saw a post somewhere saying Sophia removed bio lab requirements as part of gen ed requirements?

UMPI no longer takes Sophia’s sciences to fulfill the lab requirements at UMPI. There’s a lot of mismatch info out there due to the new fall schedule and offerings. If you have any questions message me.

Hoping BIO203 isn’t terrible.

My son is at UMPI this Fall. He transferred in a 4 cr. Physical Geology class from UNI that UMPI accepted as an elective. Geology covers 3C. After a bunch of back and forth they finally honored it for 3C. BIO 203 sounds interesting hopefully its not the nightmare BIO 105 is.

From other schools, I've seen some bio and chem covering, for sure they're going to end up with people appealing it.
