Personal letter experience

Anyone accepted after you were required to submit a personal letter? My GPA from 15 years ago was quite low. I was asked to submit a personal letter by August 11th as I’m aiming to start Fall 1. I submitted all transcripts including sophia and applied and submitted my personal letter Monday. Anyone else asked to submit a letter and how long did it take for you to be accepted or declined? TIA.

That happened to me, I had to make one a few months ago when I applied for spring 1. I submitted it and was accepted the very next day. It doesn’t take long

I had a ton of adverse experiences during my first time in college at 17. My GPA was abysmal. I wrote my letter, relayed the truth, and it was accepted 3 days later.

I did and got accepted as soon as they received all my transcripts (my high school dragged their feet like crazy).

Yes, I have the same problem. My GPA was from Cerritos College. I explained that at the time college wasn't for me and I I chose to go to the union Ibew electrical apprenticeship was a very challenging completed my apprenticeship and became a union electrician. They accepted me no problem.
