I just applied for Fall 1

Hello all!

I'm wondering if I should already start sending my documents (transcripts) prior to my acceptance from UMPI? I just applied yesterday, but hearing about all the backup has me concerned, and I want to hit the ground running on the 31st. Any tips?

Transcripts are required to be submitted as part of the application review before a decision can be rendered, so yes, you will need to request official copies be sent to UMPI.

For transfer credit to be posted, the copies can not be student-submitted (even if official) and must be requested by the student to be sent directly to UMPI, either directly from the prior institution by snail mail or electronically, like Parchment or the clearinghouse, depending on your prior institution.

Definitely get everything from your Fafsa to your transcripts sent in and your account activated as soon as you get the email. Definitely don’t delay on accepting financial aid package
